Join artist Luciana Haill for a guided walking tour with a special augmented reality (AR) experience, revealing Magnus Volk’s sea-faring train Pioneer (The Daddy Long Legs), travelling along some of the same route from Banjo Groyne to Brighton Marina in May and June.
Smartphones are useful but not essential, and souvenir postcards with instructions will be given to all guests

Banjo Groyne in 1896 had a wooden jetty for passenger embarkment, the beach level is almost level now with the groyne accessed via Madeira Drive, BN2 1EN
Using vintage photographs from Pioneer's brief existence, taken between 1896 and 1901, the artist created this video using AI video software, generated from text and archival images that describe various desired scenes which have not been seen before.
